| Charity Home Tour seeks sponsors
The Smith Mountain Lake Charity Home Tour would not be as effective without the support of its sponsors.
A large percentage of the funds that flow to local charities each year come from sponsorships, according to Kathy Lietz with the Home Tour.
"Many, if not most, area businesses are operating with reduced or nonexistent profits, which makes garnering the traditional monetary support a daunting task," Lietz said. "Yet the need within our community is so great."
